Updates From The Thai Boxing Institute

First of all-  I hope everyone is safe and doing as well  you can be in these difficult times.

I would also like to extend my gratitude towards everyone for your patience, understanding, wonderful e-mails, messages and calls checking in on myself, the coaches and the situation.

I’m sure many of you have heard that we are now closed as a ’non-essential’ business for another 4 weeks and subject to extension by governor Newsom’s orders. In light of the new information we’ve received, we have to adapt to the new challenge.

TBI is more than just a ‘fitness’ studio or martial arts gym; It’s an institution of learning as well as a community of teachers, mentors and leaders.

We are an 100% independently funded and owned small business.

The way things are looking, all small businesses in our community of Mar Vista will be suffering greatly, and at worse-  will have to be closed down.

There are no bail-outs for us independent business owners, nor are there any freezes on our rents, leases, bills or utilities.

This is where I am asking you guys for your help, guidance and support.

I understand many of you are affected by the crisis, but if you have the means to do so, please consider keeping your membership active. Your generosity does not go unrecognized, and your help is essential in keeping TBI  alive through the closure. In return, I’m open to suggestion— what do you guys want to keep the community connected and foster and create opportunities to learn and grow?

I will be continuing our M-Th 6 pm immersive training live on facebook + google hang outs #tbiFIGHTPARTY

What else?  Please advise.

I appreciate each and everyone one of you and miss everyone dearly.

Thank you for your consideration and much love as always.
