August Newsletter

Hello hello hello!

Nothing much to report this month, just grinding it out and appreciating everyone’s support in making this one of the best places to train muay thai in West LA.  Summer will be winding down soon and class sizes should return back to normal 🙂

Re:  Coaches Clinic

Thank you to all who came out to my first business seminar, and to all the members that helped out with organization.  Took a few months of planning this out and it didn’t;t quite meet my expectations, but not everything works out the first time around.  no worries, this isn’t the last of it!  Thanks again for all your continued support!

first and foremost, i would like to thank @bryandobler and @drjasonpark , tbi members and all participants for contributing their time and effort in the business seminar and coaching clinic, thank you all for believing in this and believing in me. To hear kru bryan talk about his experience and to be so willing to help out was so inspiring and i really wish more people could've heard. This took a tremendous amount of effort and time to pull off and yes it was a little disheartening to hear of so many last minute cancellations but for those who came, that meant so much more to me than anything else. I hope you guys enjoyed it and if anything, if you learn a little tiny bit or even received a little glimmer of inspiration, than my job was done and it was done well. this was my attempt of giving back to the scene, an attempt to educate on the business side of things with my own little touch of punk rock DIY ethics, grassroot movements. I read a post by @hansmolenkamp that ended with the quote: 'don't talk about it, be about it.' . i knew what i'm trying to do is something in the right direction. there was a ton of fear, and i couldve just cancelled it and called it a day, but what kind of leader would i be had I submitted. i'm glad i did this. i learned so much from everyone and with that, i grew and was reminded of why i am doing all this in the first place. I want to share along with this post something i wrote and read out loud to start off the seminar. to future coaches and to current coaches, you might get something out of this too. Thank you to @punchgunk for sponsoring the event with some badass samples, everyone was elated to receive it 🙂 and thank you all again. -xo coach vik #vamosTBI #muaythai #nakmuay#kickboxing #muaythailife#muaythaitraining #thaiboxing #boxing#mixedmartialarts #martialarts #marvista#marinadelrey #culvercity #westla#venice #venicebeach #fitness#martialarts #mma #lookatitclosely
