The Definitive Beginners Guide to The Thai Boxing Institute

Hi and Welcome to the Thai Boxing Institutes Beginners guide.

First of all- Thank you so much for your interest in being a Thai Boxing Institute member. If you are reading this you are potentially considering being a member or are now a member. Thanks!

Second: You don’t have to be a complete beginner to use this guide. you can no have experience, some experience, or all the experience, I believe the information found here will be useful to you.

The information will range from basic Muay Thai Boxing techniques as taught by Coach Victor, to equipment suggestions and recommendations, as well as basic gym etiquette.

Basically, this is a culmination of the information new members tend to ask in the form of blog post and videos.

The content will be presented in a two-column format:

On the left there will be a clickable blog post link with detailed information pertaining to the topic. To the right will be the video on the topic. The blog post will also include a link to the video but for those who just want to the watch the video, the link is provided on the right hand column.

Re: Technique Videos

It is recommend to watch the videos and perhaps study the material and apply it to your training. You can always go back and reference the videos in case you need a refresher or would like to gain a little more insight.

I believe these videos will greatly benefit members in technique, skill and language acquisition, thus helping you learn the sport and art at an accelerated pace.

Lastly, it should be said that there is no substitute for being in the gym. This information should be used as reference only and the best way to get better at the sport is to be practicing it in the gym under the supervision of the instructors and coaches.

Thank you again and hope you find all this useful. Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.

-Coach Victor
