Hello All!
Here we are- In a blink of an eye it’s already September! Couple major announcments, many having to do with the survey. Really appreciate everyones feedback. Thank you all for taking the time to answer it. We will be doing a follow up survey in October for some of the feedback we got in order to implement more changes.
Thanks!!!
re: Greggs fight ATL
Great performance overall from Gregg but unfortunately we got the L. It was our first time going to the IKF World Classic and thought it was kind of cool.
One weigh in, one four person bracket. Every fights each other on the same night. Maybe we’ll try again next year 🙂
Tournament was very nice and everyone we encountered was extremely pleasant.
Hope to visit ATL again sometime soon.
re: Gregg fighting again

All friends, partners, significant others are welcomed so please come through! We will be there all day.

[email coach vic for link]
There is no requirement to bring anything. Your company is more than enough!!!
As a result of the beach day, there will be no class at the gym on that day. Thank you all for understanding and hope to see you there!
Schedule Changes:
1. One of the biggest responses we got in regards to survey was more cleanliness!
Ok- We get it!
If it’s any peace of mind for y’all, we have a cleaning crew come in once a week to do a deep cleanse of the place.
As a result: Starting on Monday September 18th all our 7PM classes will start at 7:05PM to allow for a sweeping and mopping down of the mats in between classes.
This will also help clear the floor space of gym bags and help with opening parking spots.
As the month moves on you will start to see more cleaning stations of wipes and sprays around the gym. Please help with cleaning by wiping down any equipment borrowed.
You can also help with odor and clealiness by buying your own equipment.
Furthermore:
Please wear sandals if you are leaving the gym. We have noticed an increase of members stepping out and back in barefoot.
not only is this unsanitary but it also tracks stuff into the gym like asphalt and other sharp or dangerous objects that might make their way onto our mats and get stepped on.
Also, please wear sandals when using our restroom. Don’t go in there barefoot please.
2. No more open gym. Yes, that is correct. Thank you to Coach Lee who ran open gym for the last couple of years. Due to the difficulty of getting to the gym on Sundays we will be removing it from our schedule.
3. Starting in October, Wednesday night schedules will switch over to 6PM Intro/Beginners ans 7PM All Levels. We will give this a few months and see what responses is like.
We also have a large amount of members that can only make it to 7PM classes but should be in All level classes.
Please note that will only be Wednesday nights. Monday schedule will be unaffected.
If you are considering joining the advanced class, please note that there is a considerate amount of clinch wrestling done in that class and as a courtesy to the advance class members please know how to wrestle hold thai pads for wrestling purposes.
Please see Coach Vic for any questions regarding these changes. Thanks!
