As per usual, one week later; The monthly news!
We are entering competition season, with some athletes preparing for competition in March and April. Any help and support greatly appreciated; Pad work, sparring, clinching drilling and general morale support. If you are interested in competing, take a look at the next couple of post for some opportunities. If you do decide to compete, all we ask is that you are all in. You will undoubtedly receive all mine as well as the school support. We all want you to succeed and all we ask is that reciprocation of respect and desire.
DON’T TALK ABOUT IT, BE ABOUT IT.
Interested in competing? Try a ‘Point Kick Boxing’ event. No ‘knock out’ rule. Don’t take to heart if you ‘lose’, it’s not a real fight 😉
PKB’s are a great venue for both novice and experienced competitors in that it allows novice athletes to see what it would feel like to compete against an unknown resisting opponent, as well as for intermediate and advance athletes to get some sparring in or work on new, or perhaps refine their repertoire.
Good way to shake off the nerves too!
Our very own Jeannie fighting in March over at the Burbank Marriott. Tickets available soon.
Saturday, March 14th 2020 Fights start at 7. Hope to see you there 🙂
