Continuing our Clinch Series, this is one of my favorite techniques within the clinch. Using the knee and hip as the fulcrum, we attack the inner thigh of the leading leg with our knee and hip to offset balance and manipulate their body weight +momentum. There are several degrees, grips, and applications.

Dependent on all that, it can be as simple as a trip/stumble balance break technique, to a full on Muay Thai clinch dump. Next few weeks we’ll examine this technique a little more closely with all other applications with some very special ones i’ve developed.
