Re: Coach Jeannie and Coach Erin make it on Team USA
We went 1 for 1 a few weekends in Denver With Coach Erin losing a UD and Coach Jeannie winning her division to gain a spot on Team USA.
But I guess Coach Erin’s opponent won’t be making the trip to Thailand so Coach Erin is on deck as an alternate and will be joining Coach Jeannie on the team.
They will now be heading to Thailand in May to compete at the World Championships.
Everyone is safe and healthy with no injuries and happy spirits which I think is the best news overall.
This is the second year in which TBI has had an athlete on Team USA and have them go and compete in the world championships.
This is a testament to the skill and abilities of our coaching staff, training partners and community here at TBI.
Speaking of community, I was reading a book (‘Who owns the Ice House?’ by Clifton Taulbert and Gary Schoeniger’) and there was section that reminded me about our community, and the impact we are having on each other:
‘This is what community is all about, it’s about our ability to make a choice to wrap around our lives and be involved in the lives of others from a perspective of caring, of honesty, of trust, of all these types of qualities that would define us today, that would set us up good for tomorrow.’
I quote this because this is exactly why the success of our athletes is predicated on the help of our community.
Our win is everyone’s win.
I hope y’all understand that.
Thank you to our opponents and camp. Very game and very skilled. Massive, massive respect.
Thank you to Jade, Jay and Kyle for all the support and for sacrificing your free time to help out.
Thank you to everyone back home for everything as always. Our athletes, members, community, sponsors and supporters.
Massive thank you to Coach Greego, Coach Nate, Coach Lee for managing the gym and running classes.
Thank you to everyone that has helped with the kids, adult classes and keeping the gym tidy.
Thank you to all our sparring partners from outside TBI.
Thank you to USA Muay Thai for the opportunity and for such an excellently ran tournament.
Thank you to Sean Madden and everyone at Easton Training Center for being so sweet, caring and accommodating.
Re: Josh Wins
Third athelte to compete in March was Josh for Royal Combat Promotions.

Thank you to everyone who stepped up training Josh while the team was away and very extra thanks to Jordan for wrapping up the fight camp.
