For those curious about what happens behind the scenes in tournaments, it’s not glamorus.
A lot of ‘hurry up and wait’ but it’s what you do with these moments is what you make of the weekend.
This video has a lot of coaching talk and reflection on everyones performance, my own performance and insight on the amount of planning and preparation needed to coach a team during a tournament.
Not singling anyone out with this specific clip, just commenting on what I think a bit of a theme amongst the team’s performance this last weekend.
Number one thing I ask people before they consider competing is ‘Why?’
Why do you want to do this?
And be completely honest with yourself and with me, because we will find out soon if there was doubt in your answer.
