The TBI Podcast #3: Why Are You So Emo?

LOL, I can’t believe this is still a thing and I STILL get asked this to this very day.  And when I bring up the mid-west emo scene and name drop a few bands I’m only met with puzzled looks and confusion.  🤷🏻‍♂️

This week’s theme is about emotional pain.  The emotional pain in coaching, running a business and competing.⁣

 ⁣

I talk about growing up as a child of immigrant parents and their way of discipline, when I first recalled feeling emotional pain and how I used physical pain as a way to deal with emotional pain.  And eventually how that manifested itself into alcoholism.⁣

People tell me to not take everything so personally.  I’m learning how.  ⁣

Thanks for listening!⁣
