Edited Final Update Before We Re-Open

NEW SCHEDULE ABOVE WILL GO IN EFFECT MONDAY, JULY 6TH

This one is a bit of a read, so bare with me.

First of all:  I hope everyone has been well as well can be.

As we prepare for re-opening..  I just want take a little time to update everyone and also to say thank you to everyone that has been keeping up with the gym and myself since all this started happening.

Thank you once again to all friends and members of TBI for your valuable contributions, donations and for keeping your accounts active to support the gym.  Your support has been immense and has kept the gym going since our closing.

As it stands, the situation seems to be constantly evolving, and I have made my peace with the bleakness of it all.

As long as I can break even and keep the place open for a bit, I think we’ll be able to figure things out.  I want to remain optimistic but life can be a bit heavy sometimes.

We are taking pretty big preventive measures to ensure the health and safety of the coaches and as well as the members.

So that means offering semi-private classes and limiting the amount of people who can join the gym.  Temp checks at the door, reduced class times and limiting the amount of people inside the gym.

We have grid out the gym floor to be able to spread ourselves out comfortably, we have installed air purifiers, exhaust fans as well as given the gym a deep thorough cleaning and disinfection prior to re-opening as well as continue to do so in-between classes.

This has always been the case with us, but understand that everyone’s health and safety is of the utmost importance to us.

I wish it were possible to accommodate everyone’s request for training practices, and I feel what I propose will be a good start and something we can all benefit from.

We ask that you remain in your car or use the outside waiting area while semi-private classes are in session.

In review:

✅.  Masks required for all classes.

✅. Temp check at the door.

✅. We have masks to use free of charge.

✅. Plenty of Hand Sanitizer.

✅. Plenty of wipes too.

✅. Grid mat area to help maintain social distance.

✅. TWO air purifiers to help with cleaning and air circulation.

✅. Constant cleaning of facilities and equipment.

✅. Plenty of TP.

How can you help? Using and maintaining your own equipment helps, as well using your own cleaning supplies if you can sacrifice it, we got you though in case you run out or forget.

Also, I know a lot of us are struggling with isolation. Consider the gym some relief of that and perhaps also reconsider your choices on limiting your exposure in big group settings.

Any little bit helps keeping the staff and members safe and healthy! Thank you everyone that has donated supplies to insure our responsible training.

Re:  Kids and Teens Classes

Hopefully we will be able to re-introduce kids and teen classes in the fall.  We apologies for any inconvenience.

Re:  Semi- Private Adult Group Classes

I think what will catch many of your attention’s are the ‘Semi-Private’ classes.

In summary:

“Semi-private group training of 4 people socially distanced amongst themselves. Class will consist of Muay Thai training, fitness training, bag work and one on one pad work with Coach Vic.

**Masks**, wraps, boxing gloves required.

There will be 3 groups of 4 people available on a first come first serve basis.  Please be advised that these are 45 minute long classes, with a price of 159/Month and a special 30 day advanced cancellation clause.

I believe this is an EXCELLENT opportunity for those still weary of groups but would like to get some training in.  Please note that we will be following strict social distancing protocols and masks WILL be required.

There is absolutely no partner work in these classes.

Re:  Other Adult Group Classes

Alternatively, we will be offering traditional style partner work classes throughout the week capped at 14 people per class.

As a way to prevent over booking classes, we have to limit gym membership altogether, and those of you that would like to train Part-Time will need to pick either a MWF or T TH SAT. schedule.

No mixing or matching please.

Members must be comfortable with contact and proximity, yet again, masks will be required.

First come first serve basis.  Remaining gym credit can gladly be used.

We will begin refund requests in the Fall.

How long will this last?  Who knows.

***Schedule and pricing subject to change.  All sales are final on Monthly memberships.  No transfers or holds allowed.

Re:  Online Training

With the limiting of the gym membership, some of you have been asking how you can help?

I’ve never done well with accepting charity and I believe in working for and earning any amount of money given to me.

So what I’m doing is moving part of the gym to an online subscription platform where you guys, if you feel so inclined, can join the community.

It’s called a ‘patreon’

If you are a patreon subscriber you have access to the back catalog of our online zoom classes, you can request training advice, I can watch your footage and help you out with your technique, or study opponent footage or offer online training, diet advice, shit even like business or coaching consultation.

Basically what I already do in person, will now be offered online all for the sake of keeping the gym open.

We have a few tiers that you can be a part of.  Check it out here:

DAMN COACH, WHAT ELSE?

SHIIIIIEEEETT.  I’m just getting started.  If you still want to train at the gym, pricing is about the same, new members will have to pay an initiation fee now of $99 which includes a school uniform and hand wraps.

Old members will always be allowed to use their credits.  If you refer a friend and they sign up, you still get $25 dollar referral credit.

If you were a member before our closure and want to get some one on one time, Myself, Coach Javi and Coach Miguel are offering private lessons at $120/hr.  Coach Javi is offering a special of two lessons for $150 and ‘MICRO’ sessions of pad holding for $10/3 min round, 3 round Minimum.  Class talk to him if you are interested.

oh yea, we also have a ‘CODE OF CONDUCT’ now.  I mean, we always have had, but now they will be posted and asked to be followed.  Just a little common sense reminder.  Check them out here:
